Price is the first thing anybody wants and the last thing most contractors will commit to. What you are actually paying for
Layer count, deck condition and roof complexity move the figure more than the shingle you choose. It depends on the alternative. Deferring a failing roof through another wet season usually costs more in interior repairs than the finance charge would have.
